Cultural Arts Assembly

BMX BikerGet ready for the excitement! On Tuesday, October 25th the Ironia PTO is bringing back by popular demand Perfection on Wheels Pro BMX Stunt Team for a thrill-filled event. These BMX athletes will leave a lasting, positive impression on each and every student by charismatically reinforcing the messages of smart choices, healthy fun, and the rewarding satisfaction of a drug-free life lived in service to others.

Students should dress appropriately for an outdoor performance for all students on the playground at 2:00 pm. Students may bring a towel on which to sit if they so choose – this is optional. Towels should be kept in their backpacks until it is time for the performance. In the event of bad weather or conditions that would be unsafe for the BMX athletes, students will be divided into two groups for separate performances in the gym at 1:00 and 2:00 pm.

A collection box will be on the cafeteria stage beginning Monday, October 31 through Wednesday, November 2. Thank you for your support!

Ironia Hope House Thanksgiving Food Drive

Canned GoodsThe Annual Ironia Hope House Thanksgiving Food Drive will take place during the week of Monday, October 31st - Friday, November 4th. Each class in grades (K-5) will be asked to donate specific food items that will help Hope House in Dover provide families in Morris County with help for their Thanksgiving meals. Please look for flyers that will be sent home with students next week in addition to next week’s PTO blast for details.

Through the generosity of our Ironia families, last year we were able to provide over 50 food donation bags to Hope House. It is important to know that our support is truly vital to Hope House's ability to help feed families and make a difference during this holiday season! This is a wonderful way to teach our children how valuable it is to help others in our community.
